The International Therian Registry ("ITR", "we", "us", "our") operates therianid.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Website and services.

Information We Do Not Collect

When you use our certification service, all information you enter into the form — including your name, therian designation, species, awakening date, and uploaded photos — is processed exclusively within your web browser using client-side technology. This data is never sent to our servers, never stored in any database, and is permanently lost when you close or refresh your browser tab.

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not use analytics software that collects personally identifiable information. We do not create user profiles or accounts. We do not store IP addresses in connection with certification activity.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment information (credit card number, billing address, email) is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe in accordance with their own Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). We do not have access to your full credit card number. We may receive from Stripe a transaction confirmation including the amount paid and an anonymized transaction identifier for our financial records.

Session Storage

Our Website uses your browser's sessionStorage feature temporarily during the checkout process. This allows us to restore your form data after you return from the Stripe payment page. This data exists only in your browser's memory, is not accessible by us or any third party, and is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab or when your documents are generated — whichever comes first.

Children's Privacy

Our Website is an entertainment service available to users of all ages. Because we do not collect, store, or process any personal information from any users, we are not subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) data collection requirements. No information entered by any user — regardless of age — is transmitted to or retained by our servers.

Third-Party Services

Our Website uses the following third-party services: Stripe, Inc. for payment processing; Google Fonts for typography rendering; and a CDN (Content Delivery Network) for delivering the html2canvas JavaScript library. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. Upon successful payment, your documents are generated instantly in your browser and made available for immediate download. Delivery is considered complete once the documents are displayed on your screen and download buttons are made available to you.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the instant digital nature of our products, all sales are final. Once your documents have been generated, the service has been fully rendered. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits. If you experience a technical issue that prevents document generation after payment, please contact us at info@therianid.com and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a replacement generation.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, logos, graphics, text, and other content on this Website are the property of the Website operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The documents generated for you are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or create derivative works based on our document designs, templates, or branding for commercial purposes.

8. User Content

Any information or images you provide through our forms (names, photos, species data) are processed exclusively in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. You represent that you have the right to use any images you upload and that such images do not infringe on any third party's rights.

9. Prohibited Uses
